Beyond being uber-smart, you better start getting your groove on in college before you even think about sending out that resume. According to Gayle Laakman, in her book The Google Resume, it takes a lot more than good grades to get your foot in the door. 1 ) Get an Internship. And we’re not talking about being a camp counselor. Start your internship search early every year to set yourself up for a good corporate, start-up, or nonprofit internship.
